BEETROOTS AT LOLLA <---My idol Bob Rifo  So my idol Sir Bob Cornelius Rifo along side dj Tommy Tea and drummer BATTLE will be performing as The Bloody Beetroots Death Crew 77 at this years Lollapalooza. Rifo formed The Bloody Beetroots in 2006, they’re an electronic/dance group from Italy. Their first EP, out on Steve Aoki’s Dim Mak records, Cornelius was in the top 100 itunes downloads in 2008. In 2009 their first full length album Romborama was released in August, the track Warp 1.9 from this album reached number 23 on Triple J Hottest 100 of 2009. The album has sold over 2 million copies. If you have the chance to catch them at Lollapalooza I definitely would because these dudes seem like they put on crazy live shows and its sure to be an experience. Autoerotique

Canadian duo Autoerotique has been kickin’ it together since the age of 17 with their thrilling dance anthems and remixes. Nicknamed the “Autobots” of electronic music, Keith Robertson & David “Dave” Henderson have been most widely recognized for their remarkable variability of style, a quality that many big DJs merely aspire to possess. The group has experimented with styles ranging from Electro to Indie Rock to Ska and has remixed tracks from an array of artists. To name a few: Lykke Li, Chris Cornell, and Laidback Luke!

    Autoerotique released their most recent EP, Freak, just earlier this year, featuring the tracks “Freak” and “Turn Up the Volume.” The songs are electrifying, contain absolutely sick drops, and are definitely worth the listen. So check out Autoerotique, touring this summer with Steve Aoki and Mustard Pimp, and also releasing their first full-length LP later this year!

Skilled Skrillex and Awesome Aoki

Steve Aoki and Skrillex performed together this past weekend at Starscape this past weekend. Skrillex was having an absolute blast, and even crowd surfed in a blow up boat. Apparently this fad is called Rave Rafting. I! want! a!  go!

The scene looked ridiculously ridiculously ridiculous.  One of the most intense videos I have seen. Warp 1.9  has been a jam for me and my college buddies all year. I only wish that we all could have been at this drop. I have nothing more to say, just watch the video and orgasm a few times.
