Two Doors Cinema Club

Ever since I stumbled across Two Door Cinema Club after the 2011 Mtv U Woodie awards I was blown away with their amazing and unique sound. Northern Irelands Two Door Cinema Club mixes indie rock with electronica which is starting to become popular in music but not in this way. Two Door Cinema Club is able to do this and still contain an original sound which I can’t get enough of. Their debut album entitled “Tour History” is a straight listen beginning to end. One of the tracks that sticks out to me on the album Tour History is the song “Something Good Can Work” as well as “I Can Talk”. These two tracks pretty much sum up why the band is becoming so popular. Their music production can be compared to Phoenix Grammy award winning Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix,  both artists share the same producer. Alex Trimble has a vocal delivery which is excellent, he manages to be carefree and energetic at the same time, and it complements the upbeat track. “Do You Want It All” is another standout, showing another energy driven side of the band, with Trimble taking on a falsetto against a guitar riff. The song continues hitting that melodic sweet spot until the middle of the song, when it suddenly explodes into a full-out dance breakdown, thrusting the song towards a thrilling conclusion. I encourage you guys to watch the MTV U Woodie awards next year to check out some of the dopest bands around the world.
